Getting Started & Your First Visit
We recommend comfortable, athletic clothing that allows for a full range of motion, similar to what you’d wear for a gym workout. For safety and hygiene, training is conducted barefoot on the mats. Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. We’re excited to have you join us!

Your first class is a welcoming introduction to our community and training style. You’ll be guided through fundamental techniques, learn basic movements, and get a feel for the class structure. Our instructors are dedicated to ensuring you feel comfortable, safe, and empowered from day one. It’s a chance to learn, sweat, and discover the XKM difference!
Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled class time. This allows us to warmly welcome you, give you a brief tour of our facility, go over your training goals and build a training program for you, and answer any last-minute questions you might have before training begins.

This is a great question, and the best fit often depends on the individual child! We’d be delighted to offer a complimentary evaluation session in both our Kids Krav Maga program and an appropriate adult class. This way, you and your child can experience both environments and decide together which is the best fit for their development and comfort. While some mature 11/12-year-olds thrive in adult classes, most find our dedicated kids’ program more suitable.
Fitness Kickboxing is a high-energy workout\conditioning class designed to get a great workout on heavy bags, paired with our Impact leaderboard tracking system! It integrates elements of Boxing, Muay Thai and kickboxing, perfectly complementing your core Krav Maga training. It’s an excellent opportunity to refine your stand-up techniques, enhance your power, and elevate your overall combat readiness. No experience required.
es, we do! We offer on going dedicated women’s-only Krav Maga beginner self-defense classes at our Fenton location. Additionally, all of our co-ed classes are welcoming and empowering for women, with many female students training regularly and building incredible skills and confidence.
Yes. This allows your child to fully immerse themselves in the Kids Krav Maga experience, meet their peers, and get a comprehensive feel for our engaging and empowering program.
Location & Facilities
While we do not offer supervised childcare, we do provide a comfortable and engaging kids’ playroom at our facility. It’s equipped with activities, a TV, and Wi-Fi, and is generally geared towards children ages 5 and up. Please note that this area is unattended, and parental supervision is required.
